How many Christmases Yet To Come will be tarnished by petty revenges?
And will Christmas Present suffer the same fate?
Whatever happened to Peace On Earth and Good Will To All?
Have they been cast aside by your stupid feud, your worthless grudge fueled by Ignorance and Want?
Will you continue to cast aside the magic of sugar plums and candy canes in favor of shouts laced with hellfire and burning coal?
Will your hatred char the needles of this year's Christmas tree? Will your anger melt the pretty baubles and break the lambent lights? Will your rage kindle a fire in the hearth that burns Saint Nick to ash?

So many days that were supposed to be happy have been ruined for me by passive-aggressive, snide remarks, by hateful slurs and shouts, by heated fighting between my parents. Trips to Disneyland. Vacations. My birthday. Christmas. Halloween. Hanukkah. I'm sick of it.
Just once, I want that not to be the case.

Yeah, I can see why you hate that. Your parents seem to be very consistent about hating each other and being massive jerks to themselves and those around them.
