Gruul

Azorius: Gruul regards Azorius as too wound-up and stuffy for his own good. The two haven't been on good terms since Gruul smashed the vase.
"Too uptight. I fixed that vase, blast it."

Boros: They're both in sports sections, and good at what they do, so they're essentially rivals. Gruul thinks Boros is a bit too stuck-up and moralistic, though.
"Boros is good at wrestling. I respect that."

Selesnya: For their part, Gruul is rather gentle with Selesnya. There's rumors that the two are dating, despite the squabbles they have every so often.
"She's cute. Too naive though."

Orzhov: Gruul deeply distrusts Orzhov and isn't one to fall for her schemes. It makes them smirk when she gets upset after they foil one of her latest plots.
"A miserable con artist. I'm glad I don't have a wallet for her to drain dry."

Izzet: Gruul sees Izzet as something of a curiosity: physically weak and condescending towards the more athletically-inclined, but utterly devoted to their games and inventions.
"Shorty's too hyper for his own good. Gotta cut back on all that Monster."

Simic: Gruul doesn't have a strong opinion on Simic one way or the other.
"Meh. Let him do his biology thing."

Dimir: Far from the creepy vibe Dimir gives others, Gruul considers Dimir as weak and pathetic, hiding behind a veneer of eerieness. Unusually and unlike most others, Gruul uses "he" pronouns for Dimir, which doesn't seem to bother the blue/black guild.
"He thinks he's all mysterious, but he's just a scrawny little nerd."

Golgari: Gruul occasionally helps Golgari deal with her garden, though her unusual choices in pets leave them baffled.
"She's too neat to be dealing with bugs and rot."

Rakdos: The two get along okay when Rakdos isn't his mindlessly destructive self (which is rare). Gruul enjoys visiting Rakdos's parties, which are the stuff of legend.
"Fun parties. Wrecked my tire swing, though."
Everyone's favorite uncivilized lout is on the scene.
